Spectris Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Constance Baroudel as Group Chief Executive.
Constance is currently Sector Chief Executive, Environmental and Analysis at Halma plc, the FTSE-100 industrial technology group, and also serves as Halma’s Chief Sustainability Officer. She will join Spectris later in the year and take over from Andrew Williams who has been interim CEO since the completion of Spectris’ acquisition by KKR in December 2025. Andrew will continue in his role as Chairman.
Constance’s appointment marks another important step in the Group’s transformation. Earlier this month Spectris announced strong first quarter results, with sales and EBITDA up versus the same period last year. The Group has also unveiled a new broad-based ownership programme giving all employees a stake in future growth.
Andrew Williams said: “As we look to accelerate our transformation and growth, I am delighted that we have secured someone with Constance’s combination of industrial technology experience, commercial discipline and strategic vision to lead the Group. Her track record of building high-performing teams, driving innovation and delivering sustainable growth will be invaluable for Spectris .”
Constance Baroudel said: “I am excited to be joining Spectris at such an exciting stage in its transformation. I have long admired the Group’s specialist businesses, technical expertise and the role its technologies play in critical end markets. I look forward to working with teams around the world to build on that foundation, accelerate growth and continue supporting customers who are helping to make the world cleaner, healthier and more productive.”
Constance brings an impressive track record in industrial technology, innovation and growth. In her time at Halma, she has delivered exceptional organic growth with a strategic focus on talent and innovation, whilst also leading and completing over 20 M&A transactions. This experience will be central to supporting Spectris’ ambitious growth plans.
She is also a non-executive director of the FTSE-100 engineering company Spirax-Sarco plc, and her breadth of sector experience and knowledge of large, global organisations will bring valuable perspective across Spectris’ end markets.
Prior to joining Halma, Constance previously held a range of executive positions at First Group, De La Rue and Strategic Decisions Group. She holds an MSc in International Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics, an MSc in Corporate Finance & Strategy and a BA in International Relations, both from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
