Spectris plc, the precision instrumentation and controls company, announces that it is today hosting an Investor Forum in London.
The Forum will provide analysts and investors with an opportunity to increase their knowledge of Spectris. The day will comprise presentations by leaders of Spectris operating businesses. A presentation will also be made by Steve Hare, Group Finance Director, on the impact of adopting international financial reporting standards (IFRS). This is the subject of a separate press release and full information can be found at www.spectris.com.
No new trading information will be provided. In accordance with its normal practice, the company will provide a trading update on Thursday 7 July ahead of its half year results for the period ending 30 June 2005.
