Spectris plc, the precision instrumentation and controls company, announces that Group Finance Director, Steve Hare, will be leaving the company on 21 July 2006 to take up an appointment as Chief Financial Officer of Invensys plc.
John Poulter, Chairman, commented: "We wish Steve well in this new appointment and are particularly grateful for his contribution to Spectris during the transition of Chief Executive in 2005".
The company's next trading update will be at the Annual General Meeting on 17 May 2006.
